SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Request authorization for the County Executive to amend the contract between Whatcom County and Cascadia Law Group, PLLC to increase the maximum compensation by $25,000. The three additional tasks added to the original scope of work as part of this amendment include revieweing the SEPA checklist and providing advice on SEPA compliance, providing additional legal advice and drafting of proposed revisions throughout the Planning Commission and Council review processes, and drafting the final ordinance and supporting findings.
