SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:

Supplemental #1 requests from the Flood Control Zone District Fund:

1.                     To appropriate $2,517,712 to fund the elevation of homes, from grant proceeds, of fourteen properties to mitigate future flood damages.

2.                     To appropriate $9,578,533 to fund the acquisition of fifteen properties with structures that were substantially damaged, from grant proceeds.

3.                     To amend Exhibit B Flood Capital Program to allow transfer of unused budget authority from Jones Creek Deflection Berm and Truck Road 2020 Damage projects to Marine Drive Levee 2020 Damage Repair project.
