SUMAS/EVERSON/NOOKSACK FLOOD CONTROL SUBZONE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

 

1 Vacancy, partial term ending 1/31/2025.  Previous appointee resigned in June 2022.

 

WCC 100.06.080 Vacancies.

If a position has remained vacant for more than 90 days due to a lack of qualified applications having been received, an applicant who has previously served on the advisory committee may be appointed to serve an additional term, notwithstanding any other provisions of this title.

 

Meets periodically as needed. Applicants must live within the subzone boundary. The Committee is an integral part of the program reviewing the Comprehensive Plan for flood control, discusses and recommends budget appropriation, and is a liaison with the public at meetings. The Committee has special meetings throughout the year as needed.
