Request Council to change Solid Waste Advisory Committee Member Rodd Pemble’s representation from Business/Industry to Waste Collection Industry

County Council appointed Rodd Pemble to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee on January 14, 2020. Mr. Pemble applied for and was appointed to the Business/Industry representative position. The appointment is Mr. Pemble’s first full term, expiring January 31, 2023.
The Solid Waste Advisory Committee and Health Department request that Mr. Pemble’s representation on the Advisory Committee change from Business/Industry to Waste Collection Industry. See the staff report from the Health Department. Mr. Pemble indicated via email to Council staff that he approves the requested change to his appointment.
If Council approves the change, Mr. Pemble’s appointment term will not change. He will still be serving his first full term, expiring January 31, 2023.
