SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:

Per WCC 3.08.100(A), the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office requests approval for the County Executive to award Bid #24-74 for the purchase of two Skydio X10 drones, accessories, software, and training to the lowest responsive bidder, Axon Enterprise Inc, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, in an amount not to exceed $57,484.20. The Sheriff’s Office will utilize this equipment in the performance of County business, specifically during high risk operations, search and rescue, and technical investigations. This is a planned purchase, and adequate funds exist in the General Fund, as approved by Council on Ordinance #2024-018 (Supplemental ID #2024-4589)
