SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:

Per WCC 3.08.100(A), the Auditor’s Office requests approval to purchase ClearCount 2.5 ScanStation and ClearAudit Admin Station bundles from the sole source vendor Clear Ballot Group, Inc. This equipment will be used to replace outdated computer workstations and scanner used for the voting system in the Auditor’s Office Election Center. The vendor is Clear Ballot Group, Inc., and the total cost for this purchase is $50,347.10, including sales tax. Funding for this purchase will be provided in the Election Reserve Fund by proposed Supplemental ID #2025-4932, which was introduced to the County Council on Agenda Bill #2025-314 on April 15, 2025.
