SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Whatcom County is preparing to assume operational control of the Disposal of Toxics program on July 1, 2025, after it has been operated by a private contractor. In order for the County to charge fees for businesses to dispose of their hazardous waste, new fees will need to be added to the Unified Fee Schedule.
