SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
This interagency agreement will support coordination of climate change planning efforts between Whatcom County and other government entities in Whatcom County with the support of Western Washington University’s Sustainable Communities Partnership Program. A graduate student lead and undergraduate students from a land use planning course, under the direction of Dr. Tammi Laninga, will support improved coordination of climate action planning efforts and support the small cities of Whatcom County in developing climate change language to be considered for adoption in their comprehensive plans.
