SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Per WCC 3.08.100(A), the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office requests approval for the County Executive to award Bid #24-46 for the purchase of 30 qty FN®15 11.5 SRP G2 rifles, associated equipment, and accessories, to the lowest responsive bidder, Proforce Law Enforcement, located in Prescott, Arizona, in an amount not to exceed $60,576.42. These rifles will be issued to commissioned deputy sheriff officers for use in the performance of county business. This is a planned purchase, and adequate funds exist in the General Fund, as approved by Council on Ordinance #2022-070 (Cost Maintenance Request ID #2023-6593) and Ordinance #2023-068 (Supplemental ID #2024-4273)
