SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Per WCC 3.08.100(A), Public Works Equipment Services requests approval for the County Executive to authorize the purchase of vehicle upfit equipment on an as-needed basis, not to exceed $125,000 in 2024, using the Washington State Contract #02020 (expires August 31, 2026). This approval request will be valid through the current budget biennium, December 31, 2024. Vehicle upfit equipment includes interior partitions, push bumpers, and other law enforcement vehicle equipment that is installed by Public Works in fleet vehicles used by the Sheriff's Office. The state contract is awarded to JR Setina Manufacturing Co., located in Olympia. These are regularly budgeted expenditures, and funds exist in the current Equipment Services budget in the ER&R Fund
