SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:

 

Supplemental #12 requests funding from the General Fund:

1.                     To appropriate $362,000 in Non Departmental to fund increased jail medical costs.

2.                     To appropriate $1,000 in Sheriff to fund additional traffic safety equipment from grant proceeds.

From the Whatcom County Jail Fund:

3.                     To re-appropriate $36,531 to fund jail electrical work.

4.                     To appropriate $9,000 to fund fiber cost increase.

5.                     To appropriate $17,000 to fund Medication Assisted Treatment program.

6.                     To appropriate $362,000 to fund increased jail medical services and medication costs from General Fund transfer.

From Real Estate Excise Tax 1 Fund:

7.                     To appropriate $172,000 in Non Departmental to fund additional transfer in support of East Whatcom Regional Resouce Center Phase II construction.

8.                     To appropriate $50,000 in AS-Facilities to fund second floor Whatcom Unified Emergency Coordination Center remodel

From the Public Utilities Improvement (EDI) Fund:

9.                     To appropriate $750,000 to fund Port of Bellingham Broadband Project.

10.                     To appropriate $1,000,000 to fund transfer out in support of Triage Facility project.
