SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Per WCC 3.08.100(A), the Whatcom County AS-Facilities Management division requests approval for the County Executive to award Bid #24-61 for the purchase of an engine-generator set and associated equipment, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Cummins Sales & Service, located in Sumner, in an amount not to exceed $76,815.97, including freight and sales tax. This engine-generator set will be installed by County forces at the AS-Facilities Management offices located on Williamson Way, and will support servers that run the Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Energy Management systems for all County offices in the event of a power failure. This is a planned purchase, and adequate funds exist in the Administrative Services fund, as approved by Council on Ordinance #2024-011, Supplemental ID #2024-4553 (Generator at Williamson Way)
