SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
The Justice Project Implementation Plan and Ordinance 2023-039 direct the County Council and Incarceration Prevention and Reduction Task Force to create an oversight committee to assist the County Executive in overseeing the Implementation Plan. Formation of the JPOP Committee is Project 1 in the Plan.
Council review and consideration of proposed Committee formation, structure, and appointments is necessary.
