SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Whatcom county received a petition to amend the Comprehensive Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Plan from the Department of Ecology, due to inclustion of single-stream recycling within the City of Bellingham. Per the requirements of Chapter 70A.205 RCW, Solid Waste Management - Reduction and Recyucling, the plan has been amended to align with current practices. The plan has been reviewed by the Solid Waste Advisory Committee and Solid Waste Executive Committee and received public commnet through SEPA. Pending council review and approval, the amended plan will be submitted to Ecalogy as per RCW.70A.205
