Letters sent by Council with time constraints

SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
If a councilmember proposes to draft a letter on behalf of the full council, and time constraints do not allow for the matter to wait until the next council meeting, the letter may be sent by the council chair provided that:
1. An attempt is made to contact all councilmembers to obtain their consent; and
2. A majority of councilmembers agree to sending the letter; and
3. A copy of the letter is placed in all councilmember boxes; and
4. The letter is included under “Other Business” at the end of the next council meeting.

• Letter to DOH regarding vaccines dated February 2, 2021 (Council as Health Board)
• Letter to Governor regarding Roadmap to Recovery dated February 2, 2021 (Council as Health Board)
