BODY
SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
The current floor coating is getting worn down and is the first barrier for hazardous containment. No records were found for when the current flooring was installed and what type of coating it is. Without records, we don’t have an actual application date, lifespan, or what topcoats will bond to it for resurfacing. Knowing that forklifts are used and not knowing how well the topcoat has bonded, this would only work for a short-term solution and without warranty. The ideal solution is to fully remove the coating to the concrete substrate and install a new floor coating
