Clarification of Council motion to change representation on the Surface Mining Advisory Committee from Committee Member Kathleen Greenbaum

SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
On March 5, Council approved the request to change Kathleen Greenbaum’s representation on the Surface Mining Advisory Committee. She currently serves as a representative of a potable groundwater supply. Council did not indicate which position to appoint her to represent.
Ms. Greenbaum requested that she be appointed as a representative of either forestry or agriculture. Her term end date would remain the same, expiring 1/31/2027.
COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED:
1. Appoint Ms. Greenbaum to serve as the Agriculture representative, OR
2. Appoint Ms. Greenbaum to serve as the Forestry representative.
