Request authorization for the County Executive to enter into a Contract Amendment for Supplemental Agreement No. 2 between Whatcom County and Geo Test Services, Inc., in the amount of $50,000

SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:

This contract is utilized by multiple Public Works Departments.  The scope covers material sample collection, on-site material inspection, on-site construction inspection, testing of concrete, hot mix asphalt aggregates, and other construction materials.  To date 75% of the contract has been used/committed for projects. It is anticipated that the supplemental $50,000 will be sufficient to cover the contract use through 2023.  The original agreement was not to exceed $150,000.  This supplemental will make the new contract amount not to exceed $200,000
