SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Per WCC 3.08.100(A), Information Technology requests approval for the County Executive to authorize the purchase of 11 Lenovo computer servers using the Washington State/NASPO contract #05815-021 (expires 01/31/2024). This equipment will be used to replace end-of-life servers related to the Assessor Treasurer System (System): seven (7) servers that run the System, two (2) GIS servers that are integral to the System, and two (2) test servers for the System. The vendor is CDW-G, and the total cost of the purchase is $144,649.60, including delivery and sales tax. Installation will be provided on a supplemental contract with the vendor who supports the System and Whatcom County Information Technology. Funding for this purchase was approved in the General Fund by Council on Supplemental ID #2023-3836, as appropriated on Ordinance #2023-001
