SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
On November 19, 2024, PDS staff brought four Open Space applications to the Planning & Development Committee (see AB2024-785). Two of these applications were recommended for approval by PDS staff and the Planning Commission. On 11/19/24, Council approved the recommendations; however, staff inadvertently submitted a “Request for Motion” instead of a “Resolution” for council to act on. WCC 3.28.020 specifies that Council must pass a resolution to approve Open Space classifications, and therefore, Council will have to act on this again.
