Appointment to fill vacancy on the Board of Commissioners for Deming Diking District #2. The position was held by Gene Aarstol. The person appointed will serve a partial term until the next election in February 2020. District boundaries are approximately the floodplain on the right bank of the Nooksack River from above Deming to downstream of Nugent’s Corner.
