SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
This project will allow Whatcom County to convene a multi-jurisdictional and collaborative partner team to complete a Phase 2 vulnerability assessment for Whatcom County marine and Nooksack riverine shorelines upstream to Deming under projected climate change scenarios. This assessment will inform and support development of needed improvements to shoreline and land use codes and initiate adaptation planning efforts in the most vulnerable communities
