SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:

Per WCC 3.08.100(A), the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office requests approval for the County Executive to award Bid #24-47 for the purchase of a 360-degree laser scanning system, including scanners, associated support, software, and all accessories, to the lowest responsive bidder, Leica Geosystems, Inc., located in Alpharetta, Georgia, in an amount not to exceed $154,128.53. This laser scanning system will be used by the Sheriff's Office for traffic accident investigations in the course of county business. This is a planned purchase, and funding was approved in the General Fund by Council on Ordinance #2023-068 (Supplemental ID #2024-4277)
