SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Per RCW and Whatcom County Code, the Public Works River and Flood Division recommends the surplus and sale of Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District (FCZD) personal property, a single-family house and four barn/storage buildings located at 8134 Northwood Road, Everson, Washington (Whatcom County tax parcel number 400322 286030 0000). The house and other buildings will be sold by sealed bid and the house will be required to be relocated off the FCZD real property to a property that is located outside of frequently flooded and geohazard areas as defined by Whatcom County Critical Areas Ordinance. A minimum bid of $500.00 is recommended due to the complexity and high cost of the house move
