SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:

 

Per WCC 3.08.100(A), the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office requests approval for the County Executive to award Bid #24-64 for the purchase of 16 pair of night vision goggles with helmet mounts to the lowest responsive bidder, Steele Industries, Inc., located in Bradenton, Florida, in and amount not to exceed $190,979.27. These night vision goggles will be issued to commissioned deputy sheriff officers for use in the performance of law enforcement functions. This is a planned purchase, and adequate funds exist in the General Fund, as approved by Council on Ordinance #2024-018 (Supplemental ID #2024-4589)
